I started working with Tristan on a twice a week basis for about 2 years to address a weakness on my left side following the removal of a subdural hematoma several years ago. A retired physician, I suffered not only from weakness on the left side, but also balance (proprioceptive) problems. My surgeon prescribed physical therapy, but the waiting list was over a month long. I knew and respected Tristan at my gym and asked if he could help me. He developed a custom set of exercises to address my specific needs, treating my difficulties with knowledge and persistence and functioning as both physical therapist and personal trainer. Following Tristan’s regime I significantly improved and eventually recovered. Now, several years later, I continue to perform the exercises he prescribed. Tristan is one of the best out there, and I'm incredibly grateful for all of his help. During our first session he was caring and thorough in learning about all of my long term aches and pains, as well as identifying troubled spots I wasn't as aware of. By the end of the session, I had already started to see minor but very promising results. Tristan's holistic approach to alignment and strength training allowed me to see results I had frankly given up on after seeing so many years. Tristan has been great for my holistic training for over 5 years. He has helped me develop my core strength and flexibility to complement my outside athletic interests which include ice hockey, golf and hiking.
